to all of you europpos... do you have anything over there similar to our turo? (turo was relay rides before)
it’s a car sharing site, where owners can rent out their cars, and renters get access to a wider and typically less expensive than the big company, set of cars.
planning a few weeks in germany/france, and would like something other than what europcar has to offer.
any other options also welcomed!

If you’re staying a few weeks, you can buy a car, then return it like a rental if you live outside the EU. You get a brand new car with full insurance, and you just pay the difference between the new cost and the buyback amount. Here’s one place that offers it:

I think there is a 21-day minimum or something like that, you can pick up at the airport too.
